Since 1960 European Football Championship is held every 4 years. The finals of the first championship, whichs name is "Henry Delaunay" was made in France in 1960. Then it is arranged by the name "European Nations Cup", since 1965 its name is "European Football Championship". After the World Cup and Olympics world's third largest sports organization, the 14th of the European Football Championship, will be held in 2012 in June / July in Poland and Ukraine. Hosting the European Football Championship gives countries an important impetus on sport, economic and establishment issues.
The countries, which win the right to make the European Football Championship, have a chance to transfer their advanced football visions and investments to new generations. In 2008 at the European Championship, which is organized in partnership with Switzerland and Austria, 8.7 million people have applied for a total of 1.1 million tickets and ticket revenue was 140 million Euros. Championship followed by 7000 members of the media, broadcasted live in 200 countries, for a month followed by 2.2 million people throughout the stadium, six million people in the streets, and 1.2 billion people on internet and 4.8 billion people by television. In this study, it is aimed to analyze the European Football Championship, which is the largest organization of UEFA's at the level of national teams. By comparison between the 13 final tournament criteria like participation rates of countries to cups, the number of goals, achievement status, disciplinary actions and the tournament location are examined and have been evaluated according to findings.
