The final regulation about colleclive dismissal in Tıırkish Law is stated in the article 29 of Labour Law numıbered 4857 and dated 22.05.2003. In case of a collective dismissal, the rules which must be followed by employers are defined in a specific procedure, stated in article 29. Collective Dismissal does not defined as a concept in European Union regulations and both in comperative Law and Tıırkish Law. Considering these regulations collective dismissal can be defined as; dismissing of determined number of employees at a determined time on the strength of one of the same reasons for collective dismissal which are identified in the legislation. The aim of the study is to analyze the elements of collective dismissal.
