The purpose of this study conducted between the dates of Mach-April 2011 was studying and determining the factors influencing the relation between organizational commitment levels and personel recruitment of nurses.
Nurses working in Celal Bayar University make up the scope of the research (n=240).
Instead of sampling distribution, all the nurses who want to take part in the research were included (n=194). The turnout was % 81.
In this study, total personel requirement points as45.3 +- 5.7 (30-60), and total organizational dependancy points as 54.1 +- 8.1 (35-78) have been obtained. Personel requirement level of the nurses are better for the ones who work for longer years, ones who are older than 30 years of age, high school graduates, and the ones who work in the service. Organizational dependancy level of the nurses, on the other hand, was better fort he ones who have high school education, those who work in the service, and for those who have worked less than 10 years (p<0.05). There have been a positive significant (r=0.622) relation between personel requirement and organizational dependancy. As a result of the study, it was determined that personel requirement levels and organizational dependancy levels of nurses were influenced by labour years, age and education. As the personel requirement level increases with the nurses, organizational dependancy level increases correspondingly.
